Who we are
PlayZoo is made and run by Otwo AI (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in India ("we" and "us" on this page). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the app. By using PlayZoo you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
Two other documents sit beside these: our Privacy Policy, which says what we do with your information, and our Refund Policy.
Who can use PlayZoo
You need to be at least 13 to have a PlayZoo account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms for you, and to any purchase.
Your account
- You sign in with Google, or with Apple on an iPhone. Keep access to that account: it is how your profile and any Premium pass find you on a new phone.
- When the app offers a guest account, that account lives only on the phone it was made on. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data loses it, together with anything attached to it, and we cannot bring it back.
- You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. The Privacy Policy says what that removes.
Playing fair in online rooms
Your display name and picture are shown to the other people in any room you join. In rooms, and anywhere else in the app, please do not:
- use a name that is abusive, hateful, sexual or threatening, or that pretends to be somebody else;
- harass or bully other players;
- get into a room you were not invited to, try to see another player's hidden role or cards, or tamper with a game in progress;
- modify the app, automate requests to our servers, or try to get around a lock or a limit in it.
If you do, we may change your name, close the room, or suspend or delete your account. Where we can, we will tell you why. If we close an account that holds a Premium pass for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the part of the pass that was left.
At the table
PlayZoo's games are played in person. Some ask you to act, perform, bluff or keep a secret. Nobody has to do anything they are not comfortable with, and the people at a table are the ones who decide what happens there. Keep it safe, kind and legal.
PlayZoo Premium
- What it is. A pass that lasts one year from the moment you buy it. It unlocks every premium deck and role in every game, including games added while it runs, and hosting online rooms beyond the free ones each month. The Premium screen in the app lists what is included.
- Paying. You buy it through Google Play on Android or the App Store on iPhone, at the price the store shows you before you pay. The store takes the payment under its own terms of sale, and we never see your card, bank or UPI details.
- It does not renew. You are charged once, and never again unless you buy another year yourself. A year bought while a pass is still running is added on to the end of it.
- One account. A pass belongs to the PlayZoo account you were signed in to when you bought it, and only that account. Sign in to the same account on another phone and it unlocks there too. The app's Restore purchase button recovers a pass the app missed.
- What changes, and what does not. We add games and decks over time. Some things are free for a while before they become part of Premium, and the number of free rooms each month can change. What a pass you have already bought unlocks is not cut back while it runs: if we ever have to take away something significant that it included, we will offer you a refund for the time left.

What belongs to whom
The app, its games, cards, words, artwork, music and the PlayZoo name belong to us or to the people who license them to us. We give you a personal licence to use the app for play, including at parties and events you run for other people. It cannot be transferred, and it ends if your account is closed. Please do not copy, sell or republish the app or its content, or extract its decks.
What you put in is yours: your display name, the house rules you write and the feedback you send. You let us show your name and picture to the people in rooms you join, and use your feedback to improve PlayZoo without owing you anything for it.
The service
The games played on one phone work without the internet. Online rooms need it, and we work to keep them running, but we cannot promise they will always be available or free of faults. We update the app, and we may change or stop a feature. A version that is far out of date may be asked to update before it opens.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in them takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Subject to that, PlayZoo is provided as it is. We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen, for business losses, or for what happens at a table playing one of our games. Our total liability to you for anything to do with the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the twelve months before the claim.
If you got PlayZoo from the App Store
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for PlayZoo or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it. If PlayZoo fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; beyond that, and as far as the law allows, Apple has no warranty obligation for it. Apple is not responsible for handling any claim about PlayZoo, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, consumer protection claims, or a claim that PlayZoo infringes somebody else's rights. You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States government embargo and are not on a United States list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If you got PlayZoo from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to the download and to any purchase.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using PlayZoo and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, as described above.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you use PlayZoo as a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory consumer laws, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before anything formal, please write to us: most problems are sorted out by email.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a material change will be announced in the app before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using PlayZoo and delete your account. A change never cuts back what a pass you have already bought includes.
